To remove a medical event type study assignment and make the medical event type available to everyone within the current cancer group:

1. Open the Add / Edit Event Type window for the medical event type in question. See Editing a Cancer Group Medical Event Type for instructions on how to open the Add / Edit Event Type window.

2. Click on the study you no longer want to use the medical event type in the Studies grid on that window. The selected row will be highlighted in yellow.

3. Click on the — button above the grid. A dialog will open asking you to confirm that you really want to stop using the event type in the selected study.

4. Click Yes to confirm that you want to do this. The dialog will close and the study will be removed from the Studies grid.

If you change your mind and decide that you really don't want to stop using the event type in the selected study, click No and the dialog will close without any changes occurring in the database.

Any existing medical events of this type already associated with the study will remain unchanged by this action.
