Past disbursements are displayed in the Project Disbursements grid on the Aliquots/Projects tab of the specimen window. There is no way to view a specific past disbursement record in a separate window in itBioPath. A single shipment record may be associated with several different disbursements — including, disbursements from different specimens. To find and edit an existing shipment record in itBioPath:
- Select Edit-Specimen Shipment from the application menu. The Search Specimen Shipment window will open.
- Enter the appropriate search criteria in the fields at the top of the window.
- A Batch ID number or Tracking Number is useful in finding a specific shipment.
- To clear previously entered criteria and start over with new criteria, click
- Click
to initiate the search of shipment records. The shipment records that match the search criteria will be listed in the grid below.
- Open a specific shipment record from the Shipment List, by double-clicking on that record. The Shipment Detail window will open.
- Make any necessary changes to the shipment record (such as updating the current status of the shipment in the Set Last Status drop-down field).
- Click
to save your changes to the shipment record.
- Click
to close the Shipment Detail window.
